EXTRA PLAYER is a generative art player for the London-based EXTRA CLUB. A monthly event under the motto “Lie down and be counted” played rather slow music alongside with visual art projections.
This player was awarded “Best Artist” at the Chicago Flash Film Festival in Feb. 2002. The festival only happened to take place ONCE. :-)
Notes: Today Ropinsky feels substantially less inclined with purely code-generated visuals. Also, some of the used Flash bugs don’t display as intended in this work with Flash versions higher than 7.
